The City of Seaford has notified the contractor that no work can take place on Market between Virginia and Stein from August 23rd to September 8th. After September 8th there will not be any road work taking place between 7am-9am for students and staff arrival. Work will bake place from 9am-2pm in the area of Market Street and Virginia Avenue. There may be a few delays. The Blades bridge project is expected to be completed by next week. Please note, walkers CAN use the sidewalk portion of the bridge, which has been completed.

8th Grade students from Family Consumer Science classes attended their "Etiquette Luncheon" at Heritage Shores. Students dressed up and had a chance to practice their manners and table etiquette. They also toured the kitchen facilities and clubhouse. What an awesome "real-life" experience for our students at SMS!
SMS Builders Club was awarded the 2019 Governor's Youth Volunteer Service Award by, Governor John Carney. This award was in recognition of all the time and various activities the SMS Builders Club perform throughout the school year. Congratulations!
June 3rd, 2019 at 7pm at the High School, will be the 8th Grade Bridge Ceremony. We will pass our 8th graders, "Across the Bridge" to High School and recognize their Middle School achievements. Invitations have been sent home.
